About York Physio & Foot Care Inc.
At York Physio & Foot Care Inc., we provide coordinated, multidisciplinary care for people of all ages. Our integrated team — Chiropodist (foot care), Chiropractor, Physiotherapist, Massage Therapist, and Acupuncture practitioner — works together to help you move better, feel better, and return to the activities you love.
We focus on clear diagnosis, evidence-informed treatment, and practical home strategies so your progress continues between visits. Every plan is individualized and regularly reviewed against measurable goals such as pain reduction, range of motion, strength, balance, and function at work or sport.
Our clinic combines hands-on therapies with modern modalities where appropriate. When needed, we complement treatment with custom-made orthotics, orthopaedic braces, medical compression stockings, and footwear advice to support lasting results.
Conditions We Commonly Help With
- Foot & ankle issues: plantar fasciitis, heel pain, flat feet, bunions, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot care
- Spine & joint pain: low back and neck pain, sciatica, facet irritation, rib and mid-back stiffness
- Upper limb: shoulder impingement, rotator cuff irritation, tennis/golfer’s elbow, wrist/hand strain
- Lower limb: knee osteoarthritis, runner’s knee, IT-band irritation, hamstring and calf strains
Note: This list is not exhaustive. If you’re unsure whether we can help, please call — we’ll gladly advise.
How We Plan Your Care
- Thorough assessment: history, movement/biomechanical testing, and where indicated, special tests.
- Clear explanation: we outline what’s driving your symptoms and what treatment will target.
- Personalized plan: a mix of manual therapy, targeted exercise, neuromuscular re-education, acupuncture (when appropriate), taping, and modalities.
- Supportive products: custom orthotics, braces, compression garments and footwear guidance when clinically indicated.
What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your clinician will listen to your goals, review relevant health history, perform a focused examination, and discuss findings in plain language. Together, you’ll agree on a plan that fits your schedule and priorities. You’ll leave with a clear roadmap, including what we’ll do in-clinic and what you can do at home between sessions.
Billing, Referrals & Collaboration
We can provide detailed receipts for extended health insurance claims and offer direct billing where available. No physician referral is required to see our clinicians; however, we’re happy to coordinate care with your family doctor or specialist and to provide reports upon request.
Our priority is safe, effective, and compassionate care delivered by a team that communicates — with you and with each other. If you have questions before booking, please contact us and we’ll be glad to help.

Here Is What Our Clients Say
“After months of lower-back pain from desk work, York Physio gave me a clear assessment and a simple plan I could follow at home between visits. The combination of hands-on treatment and targeted exercises made a big difference. Within a few weeks I was walking 8–10k steps again without stiffness. Friendly, professional, and honest about expectations.”
“My feet ached after long shifts on the floor. The team did a gait/foot assessment and fitted custom orthotics that actually matched my shoes. Within two weeks walking felt easier and I could get through a full day without that burning soreness. They also taught me stretches that keep the relief going.”
“I came in after a knee sprain. The physiotherapist explained what was going on, used gentle manual therapy, and gave me a progressive exercise plan. A supportive brace helped early on, and they adjusted it as swelling went down. Range of motion improved steadily, and I was back to stairs and long walks sooner than expected. Highly recommend.”
